Removable Covers: The Bloom Pregnancy Pillow comes with a machine-washable organic Tencel outer cover and a durable inner slipcover. To maintain hygiene, simply remove the covers and wash them regularly according to the care instructions provided.

Pillow Core: The viscoelastic memory foam core is not washable. To keep it clean, always use the provided covers, and avoid direct contact with oils, liquids, or dirt. Do not use cleaning sprays, water, or any liquids on the foam.

Handling: The memory foam is highly adaptable and resistant, but it remains a delicate material that should be handled with care. Always ensure the foam is covered with the protective inner case and/or the non-woven fabric storage bag at a minimum. When removing or replacing the case or bag, handle with care to avoid damage. Avoid contact with sharp objects such as jewellery, rings, watches, or long fingernails, which may scratch or pierce the foam.

Optional Waterproof Protection: For added protection during treatments, consider using our optional waterproof slipcover, which can be wiped clean between uses.

Storage: Store the pillow in the provided non-woven fabric storage bag when not in use. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, humidity, or extreme conditions to preserve the foam’s quality and durability.

Getting On the Pillow

• Positioning the Pillow
  Place the Bloom Pregnancy Pillow on the treatment table with the contoured edge positioned close to the headpiece.

• Guiding the Patient
  Assist the patient into a kneeling position on the table, facing the pillow.

• Lowering Onto the Pillow
  Instruct the patient to grasp the top corners of the treatment table, next to the pillow’s arm contours. Guide them to slowly lower themselves onto the pillow, aiming their breasts toward the top of the bud-shaped contours.

• Adjusting the Headpiece
  Once the patient is in position, adjust the table headpiece to ensure the neck is in a neutral and comfortable position.

• Aligning the Hips and Pelvis
  Check that the patient’s hips and pelvis are not twisted. Manually adjust if necessary to ensure proper alignment.

• Optional Adjustments for Comfort

  • Adjust the footrest or place a small pillow under the patient’s ankles to reduce tension on the posterior side of the body.
  • Allow the Bloom Pillow to mould and adapt to the patient’s body shape for optimal comfort. The design ensures no excess pressure is placed on the belly or breasts.

• Ongoing Comfort Checks
  Regularly check in with the patient to ensure they remain comfortable throughout their treatment session.

Getting Off the Pillow

• Reversing the Steps
  Instruct the patient to grasp the top corners of the table and push up slowly into a kneeling position.

  • Remind them to avoid twisting and to take their time, especially after extended time on the pillow.

• Adjusting to Changes in Pressure
  Advise the patient to move slowly to prevent sudden changes in blood pressure or lightheadedness.
